Exquisite excellence

OEO Studio was invited by premium box-maker August Sandgren to create a limited-edition box set for personal and precious belongings. For the task, OEO Studio teamed with their long-time partner, Japanese HOSOO which is specialised in Nishijin textile weaving. HOSOO has since 1688 supplied Japan with the finest textiles used for kimonos, mixing silk, cotton and washi paper with real silver and gold leaves. HOSOO is today one of the world’s leading premium textile brands and has collaborated with a long list of the most prestigious brands in the fashion and hospitality industry.

OEO studio handpicked two different textiles, one in golden warm tones named Sediment, designed by the HOSOO in house design team, and a second named Starry Charcoal, designed by OEO Studio, in muted black and silvery tones. Two very different expressions yet equally sophisticated and with a compelling magical look.

The combination of leather and textile beautifully crafted with attention to detail makes the boxes a must-have for the crafts connoisseur.
